Paulette Goll, Ph.D., President
Nationally recognized as a Master Teacher by the Center for Learning and the Martha Holden-Jennings Foundation, Paulette Goll specializes in English language acquisition and has extensive educational experience on the secondary and collegiate levels. Among her numerous accolades are a U. S. Congressional Commendation, BP Inspirational Teacher of the Year, and an Award of Excellence by the Cleveland Rotary Club. She was selected as an ACT Visiting Teacher, a Baker-Nord seminarian, and twice a recipient of National Endowment for the Humanities fellowships.
Dr. Goll has served on the faculties of Lincoln-West High School [Cleveland City Schools], Case-Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music; she is published in English and education journals and is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
Robert [Bob] Hinkle, Vice-President
The audio “voice” of Global Vocabulary LLC, Bob Hinkle is a Navy veteran who served on the USS Beale. Active in the Northern Ohio Antique Tractor Association, Bob took First Place in the 2017 Medina County Tractor Pull.
Kevin Botke, Illustrator and Animator
“Sinister shark” [found on the Global webpage] demonstrates that a picture is worth a thousand words, and an animated picture can be priceless. Currently a student at Lorain County Community College, Kevin plans to complete his B.A. at Kent State University where he will major in computer games and simulations design.
Robyn N. Lanier, Musical Director
An accomplished pianist and musician as well as a professional music coach, Robyn N. Lanier earned degrees in Music in Composition (Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory) and Music Performance (University of Akron School of Music). She served as a music director for the Holland-American/Carnival Corporation Cruise Line where she worked with a variety of singers and instrumentalists before joining Global Vocabulary LLC. In addition to performing as principal soloist in the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and Case Western Reserve’s Requiem Mass, she taught English-as-a-Second Language in Hunan Province, China.
Anna Kay Matejka, Editor
Anna Matejka studied creative writing at Sweet Briar College and holds a B.A. in English from Cleveland State University. She is passionate about language and grammar, and her stories and poems have been published in the Plain Dealer and the Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans. She particularly enjoys applying her animal biology (B.S.) and psychology background to her written work. Her volunteer positions in education have included work as an animal handler with the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, an assistant teacher at Grace C&MA Church, and as an ESL instructor with Building Hope in the City.
Johnny Kay, Disk Jockey Host of 98.6 WYSE
The Mad Hatter aka Johnny Kay has been entertaining at parties for more than 40 years. He can be “heard” on 98.6 WYSE in Global Vocabulary’s e-books Top Ten and Countdown and seen at Slim and Chubby’s Classic Car Show in Berea, OH.
Jon Fabris, App Developer
With 20 years’ experience programming mobile applications (Android and IOS native) eLearning, game, serious games, web, mobile, Jon Fabris is published in the IOS app store and Android play store applications. He is the Senior App Developer of the UPGRADE Vocabulary App [for GRE test preparation] and SMART Vocabulary App [for SAT test preparation]
