Founded in 2013, Global Vocabulary LLC has developed iPhone and iPad apps designed to prepare individuals for standardized admission tests to colleges, conservatories, and graduate schools.  The learning method features multi-sensory vocabulary acquisition and contextual vocabulary techniques [patented], which combine visual, audio, and kinesthetic learning modalities to maximize learning and retention.

Paulette Goll, Ph.D., Founder and President

Nationally recognized as a Master Teacher by the Center for Learning and the Martha Holden-Jennings Foundation, Paulette Goll specializes in English language acquisition and has extensive educational experience on the secondary and collegiate levels. Among her numerous accolades are a U.S. Congressional Commendation, BP Inspirational Teacher of the Year, and an Award of Excellence by the Cleveland Rotary Club. She was selected as an ACT Visiting Teacher, a Baker-Nord seminarian, and twice a recipient of National Endowment for the Humanities fellowships.

Dr. Goll has served on the faculties of Lincoln-West High School [Cleveland City Schools], Case-Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music; she is published in English and education journals and is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.

Robert [Bob] Hinkle, Vice-President

The audio “voice” of Global Vocabulary LLC, Bob Hinkle is a Navy veteran who served on the USS Beale. Active in the Northern Ohio Antique Tractor Association, Bob took First Place in the 2017 Medina County Tractor Pull.

Peter Beurmann, Illustrator and Animator

Peter Beurmann, a graduate of Cleveland State University’s Dramatic Arts program, is a freelance video producer, editor and writer in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a QTV team member for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Monsters, and also works with Tribe TV for the Cleveland Indians. Peter has received several Telly Awards for his work as Production Manager and Digital Video Specialist at Case Western Reserve University. His hobbies include training in martial arts, graphic novel writing, soundtrack production and screenplay development. He lives with his two cats Buddy and Solomon and is an active team member of Global Vocabulary.

Robyn N. Lanier, Musical Director

Robyn Lanier Global Vocabulary
An accomplished pianist and musician as well as a professional music coach, Robyn N. Lanier earned degrees in Music in Composition (Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory) and Music Performance (University of Akron School of Music). She served as a music director for the Holland-American/Carnival Corporation Cruise Line where she worked with a variety of singers and instrumentalists before joining Global Vocabulary. In addition to performing as principal soloist in the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and Case Western Reserve’s Requiem Mass, she taught English-as-a-Second Language in Hunan Province, China.

Johnny Kay, Disc Jockey Host of 98.6 WYSE

Lauren is a Solutions Design Analyst for Clario in Cleveland, Ohio where she is part of the production build team. She has a degree in Computer Science from Ohio Northern University, an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and Post-Degree Certificates in Web Development and Application Programming. Outside of work, Lauren loves to learn about plant based nutrition.

Joy Milchak is a versatile artist with a passion for illustration. Adept at drawing characters at a young age, she continues to refine her craft with innovative techniques like creating cut out images that she places in intriguing settings.

Muhammad Rafay, Application Developer

Muhammad Rafay Global Vocabulary
An experienced developer, Muhammad Rafay’s expertise includes both iOS and Android Solutions. He has worked on a variety of hybrid solutions, including React Native and Nativescript. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science with a concentration on Data Studies (DePaul University Chicago). Beyond developing mobile solutions, Muhammad enjoys hiking, sci-fi movies, and books on history.
